Motor Bike Trials
Bike Trials involve a bike rider traversing a section, the further you go up the section, the less marks you get awarded to you, however you are allowed to put your foot down on the ground a number of times for which you are penalised by marks. There are currently 4 grades in a competition: Grade A, Grade B, Grade C and Grade D
The following are our Bike Trial events for 2012
- Sunday 19th February - Stapleton Bike Trial - Aurora Wood, Glencree, Co. Wicklow
- Sunday 14th April - Patland Bike Trial - Sugar Loaf
- Sunday 21st October - Octember Bike Trial - Venue TBC
- Sunday 2nd December - Turkey Bike Trial - Inchnappa House, Ashford, Co. Wicklow
The club is affiliated to Motorcycling Union of Ireland which is the governing body to two wheeled motorsport in Ireland. If you are interested in becoming a trials rider or involved in trials, further information can obtained directly from the M.C.U.I. website.
